The purpose of this role is:

- To manage, update and maintain the accuracy of business databases (mainly in Fleet Maintenance and Tyres) which are critical to facilitate competitive quoting on all business opportunities.
- To provide support to the Pricing & Risk Manager and Analysts in preparation of data & analysis of information and manage pricing requests during peak times.

This role is essential in assisting in the preparation of work for effective decision-making on the group’s risk management of pricing elements. Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount. Knowledge of vehicles and vehicle types as well as vehicle accessories, sizes and costs is valuable to this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Research/Analysis
- Research information on new model vehicles
- Create maintenance and tyre budgets
- Update the Lookup Tables for Rego, CTP, Stamp Duty, Dealer Discount, etc.

Reporting
- Analyse and report on Budgeted vs Actual Costs
- Projected Excess Kilometre Report
- Sales Strategy Report

Day-to-day tasks
- Calculate maintenance and tyre budgets on contract modifications
- Pricing Variation Requests
- PPSR Management
- Vehicle Data Management - i.e. maintain the required active vehicle count throughout the year
- Evaluate quotes, e.g. Stop-start Leases, Mini Leases, Concessional Rego, etc.

Capabilities & Behaviours
- Highly analytical and with high level of accuracy/keen eye for detail
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Analytical ability and interest - able to work with and manage large volumes of data and has expertise in identifying patterns and trends
- Results and Customer Focus - able to process large volumes of work with awareness and appreciation of the need to be responsive to customers and produce quality outcomes

Knowledge & Experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of fleet maintenance operations
- Experience working in the motor vehicle/fleet management industry - preferably as a Mechanic, Service Advisor, or in a similar role
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- Evidence of successful track record managing large volumes of data and manipulating data to explore and identify trends, produce estimates and calculations.
