**ABOUT US**
We are a Joint Venture, comprising of Ventia, Downer and Jacobs. We are one of three Regional Delivery Partnerships providing services for Sydney Water. We work hard to ensure that Sydney Water keeps running for people who live in the North Region of Sydney, rain, hail or shine. We’re often the first to reach an emergency during severe weather events and we are responsible for the delivery of an unprecedented pipeline of capital works over the next 10 years.
Confluence Water proudly delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This role is responsible for supporting our operational teams to establish, implement, and maintain the document control management system while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
In this role, you’ll:
- Develop and oversee processes involving design drawing version control and other document control processes through the Confluence Water and client Document Management System(s).
- Create transmittal folders for Projects to work with tenderers and subcontractors.
- Support delivery teams through training, coaching and governance to manage the coordination of works, from a document control perspective, between the design, construction, commissioning and the quality team to ensure that completion activities are progressively completed as early and efficiently as possible (ie. As-Built Redlines, QA Records).
- Manage document control within the Integrated Management System (IMS) and review processes in the IMS, including review, formatting, version control and coordination of approvals of documents
- Process documents and communications through the relevant document control systems as required.
- Provide coaching and training in document management systems, records management requirements and document control processes to operational personnel.
- Provide regular and systematic reporting on any outstanding actions, supporting HSEQ Advisors and Operations to manage and escalate for timely closure.
- Develop and implement assurance activities to ensure compliance with document control requirements across projects.
You’ll have a desk at Chatswood, but you will spend most of your time working with Project Managers, Project Engineers and our site teams at any of our site offices which stretch the footprint we work.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Extensive experience as a document controller.
- Strong experience managing InEight within projects including for design drawing version control.
- Strong experience managing and improving the use of SharePoint including a SharePoint based Document Management system.
- Ability to continually drive improvements and efficiencies in the management of documents, drawings, formal communications and in Quality Management Systems to assist field and office staff.
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for working with and supporting people to drive shared business outcomes.
