**About the Role**
Having recently undergone a change in operating model, this market leader is seeking a high calibre Injury Management professional to join their team. you will be tasked with providing specialist knowledge and expertise to:
- Provide early intervention support and management to injured employees, through completion of care calls, referrals to early intervention programs and preparation of recover at work plans.
- Undertake role of RTW Co-Ordinator and manage a portfolio of injury cases including consultation and collaboration with injured workers, treating practitioners and leaders to support injury recovery and recover at work planning. Including travel to worksites and case conferences to attend in person.
- Manage submission of workers' compensation claims across all states if required.
- Manage workers compensation weekly payment process in scheme states in accordance with legislation and enterprise agreements and provide oversight and support to third-party administrator in self-insurance. Including reconciliation and audit of weekly and claims payment.
- Undertake the role of reconsideration officer and claims delegate for SA self-insurance
- Support and provide expert guidance to senior leaders and managers on management of workplace injuries and workers compensation claims in accordance with legislative requirements
**About You**
- tertiary qualifications in Allied Health (or related) or equivalent prior experience
- Experience in an Injury Management/Rehabilitation role in a with a proven track record in delivering effective workplace injury performance results. (exposure to a large and geographically dispersed organisation is preferable)
- Demonstrated customer focussed mindset and approach to problem solving.
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to engage with external and internal stakeholders.
- High level planning, time management and prioritising skills
- Ability to create positive working relationships and influence across a broad range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated capability in coaching leaders and frontline workers to build knowledge and understanding of relevant health, safety and wellbeing requirements
- Ability to travel as operationally required and for team development
