As a People Manager within Suncorp’s People, Legal & Corporate Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting Consumer Claims by developing and executing focused people strategies. You’ll be a trusted advisor, collaborating with leadership to forecast workforce needs, address escalated employee matters, and lead engagement and wellbeing initiatives. If you have a strong background in HR and a passion for fostering an engaged, resilient workforce, this role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

**What You’ll Do**
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast workforce needs, assess current capabilities, and develop hiring and retention strategies to handle peak claims periods
- Design and implement initiatives that promote engagement, psychological safety, and resilience, particularly during high-stress periods
- Support leaders through transitions such as process automation and restructuring, coaching them on managing teams through change

**What You’ll Bring**
- Recognised HR or Business Degree (desired)
- 7-10 years in senior HR leadership, ideally within professional services, banking, finance, or a commercial environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and ability to influence across all organisational levels
- Proven expertise in change management and experience leading complex workforce programs
