An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Coordinator (Children's Apparel) to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage.

Reporting to the Production & Sourcing Manager, this position will be responsible for the accurate technical development, supplier quotation and handover of new product lines. Through building strong supplier relationships, you will ensure that you meet internal deadlines with a focus on delivery and quality.

**THE ROLE**:

- Receive new product styles via Handover with Designer
- Preparation of supplier tech packs
- Fit & Measure original sample/s and create the base size measurement on the specification
- Prior to fittings, ensures all garments are measured against specifications and any fit, styling or workmanship
comments are noted for discussion with the Designer.
- Conduct cost negotiations with the supplier/s for all product in your category range focusing on target margins and delivery dates.
- Maintain Production Schedules following formatting standards and accurate data entry
- Collate and file all lab dips, fabric / trim approvals and strike-offs.
- Check and approve all requested fabric testing ensuring Seed standards are met
- Communicate and follow up on product facing delays, shortages / overages with Design, P/S Manager & Planning.
- Collaborate with the Design Teams in the development of product that meets product safety requirements
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**:

- A relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification in Production and/or Quality Control
- Previous experience in a similar role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with offshore production
- Experience working with both cut and sew and woven product is essential
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of garment construction, size specifications and fitting garments
- An ability to prioritise and multitask.
- Outstanding PC skills and clear verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in all MS Office Programs, specifically in Excel and Adobe Illustrator
