**About the role**

RACQ has opportunities for customer service and safety focused people who are interested in working as a Vehicle Recovery Officer.

Our team of professional drivers come to the aid of RACQ’s members and other motorists in their time of need, often turning a bad day into a better day. Also, our team do not attend smash towing which allows them to focus on serving RACQ’s members and other motorists. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;.
- Providing an exceptional customer service experience to all member related work upholding the RACQ values.
- Provide basic assistance to keep motorists mobile (eg: fuel).
- Where motorists are unable to mobilise their vehicle, arrange towing or breakdown response services.
- Work safely at all times, taking into account the health and safety of yourself and others
- Ensure all Member, Trade and Quick Clearance vehicle recovery call outs are attended to and completed within RACQ Road Service / R&IM benchmarks and in accordance with Road Service / R&IM policies and procedures.

**About you**
- Impeccable driving history (past 5 years)
- Hold a general induction white card and MR Licence or above
- Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, nightwork and work across various locations
- Military / Emergency Service experience advantageous
- Computer literate and able to use smart phones, tablets, and computer systems
- Great communication skills and ability to manage conflict resolution situations
- Good problem-solving ability
