**Position overview**

Information Technology Services (ITS) delivers digital solutions that enable the Australian National University to achieve its strategic goals: a student experience equal to the world’s best, and research that transforms society and creates national capability.

ITS has responsibility for the University’s digital ecosystem, and is leading the delivery of the Digital Master Plan, a 10 year strategic roadmap for the transformation of the University’s digital capability.

ITS is seeking a procurement officer to join its small, busy contracts team. You will have the ability to work autonomously and be experienced in conducting IT procurement in a large complex environment.

This is a hands on role, the right person will be responsible for the entire procurement process, from assisting with gathering business requirements, drafting tender documents, risk assessments, procurement and evaluation plans through to managing tender queries, seeking internal approvals and contract negotiation. You will be a trusted advisor to ITS Executives and Managers and provide guidance to stakeholders to ensure successful procurement activities that are compliant with Commonwealth Procurement Rules, ANU Policy’s and ANU Procurement Guidelines.
