The Navy Library Contract Manager is a newly created position which will work in the Directorate of Navy Governance team to implement and manage a number of contracts in support of the Navy Library function. You will be instrumental in developing and executing the contracts associated with Authoring Services for Navy, IBSS migration and External Service Providers. You will need to be able to ensure compliance, and provide excellent governance and procurement advice.

Some of the key duties of this role are:

- Execute & Administer the N Library contracts on behalf of SO1 N Library.
- Liaise with contracted stakeholders to develop, negotiate and implement S&Q that meet authoring surge requirements.
- Administer all Level 3/Level 4 priority ANP Authoring Task survey and quote contract arrangements.
- Assist N Library stakeholders in understanding the authoring process and their obligations with respect to managing authoring outcomes and their interaction with contracted authors.
- Manage reports and returns for the Level 3 and 4 N Library authoring priorities.
- Assist N Library stakeholders to source the assistance of contracted authors allocated to Level 1 and Level 2 Priority tasks.
- Report fortnightly to SO1 N Library on the status of the N Library authoring budget.
- Provide feedback to N Library Policy Officer and SO1 N Library on the status of N Library contracted authoring tasks.
- Undertake other authoring contract management duties as directed by SO1 N Library.

**About our Team**
Working to the Director Navy Governance, you are part of the team that is embedded in a dynamic environment, supporting Navy Outcome 5. You will be part of the Navy Governance team which currently consists of a blended workforce of ADF, APS and Contractors.

You will be accountable for the execution and administration of the N Library authoring contract, N Library interim workforce contracts and the N Library data migration contract that will result in the N Library transitioning to IBSS. You will therefore play a key role in supporting SO 1 N Library through the N Library Upgrade project as the N Library transforms to an integrated and accessible Navy capability.

Through its central authoring contract the N Library Program provides authoring support services to assist Sub-Library Managers with maintaining their respective sub-library content. You will be the key conduit between the N Library Program, N Library Sub-Library Managers and the contracted authors to ensure that authoring support is timely, effective and value for money.

- Ability to handle highly sensitive information in accordance with government security requirements.
