**About Us**
Our Urogynaecologist is newly established, and setting up new rooms in Wahroonga. The new staff would be working Monday and Tuesday for full working days on site at Sans Hospital, and Wednesday to Friday part days working from home - 11am till 2:30pm (negotiable). Possibility of increasing hours in future.

Our Surgeon specialises in patients with Urogynaecological challenges, with patients from a variety of different background and ages. Our practice’s vision is to provide those patients with a smooth well functioning, empathetic and supportive patient journey.

We will provide you with a dedicated laptop and practice mobile phone to use on site and when WFH to ensure smooth transition between sites.

**About You**
This is an opportunity for a Senior Medical Secretary to use their extensive experience to assist this newly established Surgeon with their start-up paperlite practice. We are seeking an energetic, experienced, self-motivated and customer service minded Medical Secretary for a permanent part time role.

As the pivotal and initial member of this new team, you will need to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to ensuring our practice runs at its optimum, with strong patient care and an empathetic manner to ensure we display exceptional patient care for our patients in need. You pride yourself on your ability to think outside the square and display initiative. In time as the practice grows, your days may increase.
- Experience using **Xestro** - or similar medical software programs to manage our practice calendar and Surgeon’s appointments
- Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly manner and can-do attitude - a real team player - loves to take initiative and be gatekeeper for our Surgeon
- Audio typing (for urgent letters only)
- Managing meet and greet and consulting sessions including uploading appropriate documentation
- Experience at a Specialist Medical Practice (viewed highly)
- Professional appearance and demeanour (with outstanding customer care and strong skill level on all aspects of the Medical Secretarial role
- Experience with Theatre bookings and Surgical billing (and quoting) - Eclipse experience viewed highly - AMA rates and known Gaps will apply
- Ability to work independently with initiative and also love being part of a team (in the future)
- You pride yourself on your attention to detail and thrive in implementing systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task, happily being the gatekeeper for our Surgeon, allowing her to do what she does best - being a Surgeon.
- IT Savvy with great troubleshooting skills
- Professionally presented, in person, verbally and written

Responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing new practice systems - you are the guru of systems and processes.
- Setting up consulting rooms
- Welcoming patients into the practice and answering phone calls in an efficient, friendly and courteous manner
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times (cannot be overstated)
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Undertaking Theatre bookings and Surgical billing including patient billing and processing of payments
- Performing general administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, mail sorting, filing and following-up patient enquiries
- Supporting and assisting our Surgeon in a range of administration and ad-hoc tasks.
- Enjoy being flexible to assist our Surgeon and practice

Appropriate above award remuneration based on skills and experience.

**Days/Hours**:
Monday and Tuesday

8:30am till 5:00pm (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Wednesday to Friday

11:00am till 2:30pm WFH
