Accounts Payable Manager - 12 month Fixed term contract

**About the role**
This is a great opportunity for an energetic Accounts Payable Manager to join a successful growing retail business in Waterloo. The role will involve mentoring & leading a team of 6 and running the end to end accounts payable process. The role is initially a contract position.
**The Responsibilities**
- Matching, batching and coding a high volume of invoices
- Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills
- Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations
- Weekly meetings with other senior finance member.
- Leading a team of 6
- Contribute accounts payable information to other departments upon request
- Coordinate the accounts payable system, including vendor details, record of payments and filing systems
**The successful applicant will have**
- Experience mentoring, developing & managing a team
- Previous experience with a large ERP system
- Experience with foreign currency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel
