**Corporate Finance: Client Management & Execution (CME)**:
Corporate Finance is responsible for all financing activity in Corporate & Institutional Bank (C&IB). We manage the balance sheet for C&IB, while providing financing solutions for our customers in markets like Funds & Insurance, Property, Banks, Diversified Financials (including FinTech) to name a few. Our Client Management & Execution (CME) Team partner with Client Coverage and Product Specialist teams with the aim of driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for clients.

In continuing the drive to achieve success in our market leading Corporate and Institutional Banking team, we are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team and support our Client Coverage bankers with a focus on deal structuring, execution and portfolio risk management. This role will be a great opportunity for an individual who has a passion for property, credit analysis and experience in commercial real estate lending. The Corporate Property Victorian team will soon expand their set to also include Construction, Hotel and Health clients, therefore cashflow lending experience will be highly desirable.

**As our Associate Director, you will be responsible for**:

- Leading deal structuring, analysis and execution, documentation review and negotiations for aligned portfolios in collaboration with Client Coverage, Credit Risk and Legal
- Driving and embedding quality, consistency and continuous improved practices / activities in CME, with emphasis on improving the quality of credit submissions, turnaround times and management of business risks.
- Driving portfolio decision making with the use of MI and portfolio data
- Delivering a desired portfolio shape to meet objectives within the defined allocation of capital and funding
- Responsibility for managing the ongoing monitoring of the risk profile and compliance requirements of client portfolios, ensuring portfolio hygiene is of a good standard.
- Collaborating across the Enterprise to maximise the effectiveness of enterprise objectives and deliverables
- Driving the desired Enterprise culture of trust, effective decision-making, strategic agility and constructive challenging
- People leadership of Analysts, Associates and Senior Associates within the team

**What you will bring**:

- Tertiary qualifications with a degree in Business or Finance or a related discipline
- Extensive professional experience in investment/financial industry
- Previous and related senior level experience preferably gained within an operational environment.
- Extensive excel modelling and deal structuring skills
- Broad C&IB product knowledge and industry insight
- An understanding of, and dealing with, APRA Prudential standards, particularly APS112/113
- Previous experience successfully managing internal and external stakeholders
