The Role

Due to significant growth within our Victorian Commercial divisions, we have a rare opportunity available for a talented Associate Director of Commercial.

Reporting to the State Director - Commercial, the Associate Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership to drive the short and long term growth and success of Opteon. This will be achieved by working with the State Director and other Associate Directors to implement and deliver the Regional strategy.

The strategic motivation for this role is to assist managing Valuation operations, achieving operational and service excellence aligned to client expectations and leading a team of Commercial valuers.

Based in Melbourne, this pivotal role will see you taking responsibility for Commercial Valuation Services in your area of specialisation, and in a manner which positively, proactively and successfully compliments the business’ core values. You will a have leadership style which is naturally empowering, supportive, collaborative and drives culture.

As a passionate leader you will deliver on change management initiatives, diversity, grow the current extensive client base, and deliver outcomes aligned to the approved business plans enhancing performance across their team through factors such as valuer capacity, coverage, TAT, targets/revenue and report quality.

About You

We are seeking a driven professional with not only highly developed commercial valuation skills but exceptional communication and business development skills.

You have a strong client network and commitment to professional development, together with:

- Degree in Business (Property) or equivalent qualifications
- CPV status combined with significant experience in the commercial valuation space
- Strong attention to detail, report writing and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication
- Value career progression and leadership experience or ambitions
