T**he Role**:
The Finance Business Partner will report to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and will be responsible for the Revenue, Billings and financial analysis of Charter Business area of the organisation. This role will involve input into budgets, forecasts, and is critical to working with the stakeholders to drive initiatives which increase shareholder value.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Communication of forecast and financial results to business area with an aim at increasing shareholder value.
- Accountability for the financial review of Charter business area in conjunction with key internal stakeholders.
- Preparation of charter and rail payment claims and support for the divisions.
- Preparation of Month end accruals for various revenue streams
- Preparing monthly KPI report and analysis for the Charter Business Area
- Partnering with functions to implement improvements and business cases
- Analysis and insights that link financial reports and business strategies
- Reviewing Wages and Subcontractor cost
- Preparation, development, and presentation of monthly reporting packs
- Provision of reporting as required such as performance reports, board reports, and other reports to the parent entity
- Ensuring budget controls are in place to ensure that targets are met.
- Financial and month end accounting tasks as required.
- Compliance with financial policies and procedures.

**About You**:

- Exceptional analytical and numeracy skills in relation to financial and operational aspects of business.
- Proven experience in working with large datasets to communicate key areas of focus to internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to create reports which provide insights and improve shareholder value.
- Understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles and processes, ideally gained in the public transport sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AX, D365 and advanced Excel Skills.
- Familiarity with data query management tools advantageous.
- Ability to establish positive relationships to gain cooperation and collaboration.
