**About the role**

We are looking for a COMMERCIAL FINANCE ANALYST to provide quality and timely support to the key business stakeholders via comprehensive analysis, providing insights and actions to drive change and improvement across all areas of the business.

You will be responsible for;
- Developing quality and timely information and insights provided to stakeholders across the business on financial and operational performance to enable them to make informed decisions.
- Analysing and presenting information in a clear, concise structure to inform quality and timely decision making
- Driving change through the provision of insights and information grounded in fact but embedded in our operational framework.
- Undertake analysis of month-end performance P&Ls and business performance to provide insights to stakeholders to support long term sustainable business growth
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgeting/forecasting P&Ls and board reporting including commentary and analysis
- Undertake business case analysis on a range of topics incorporating scenario modelling and potential new business acquisitions
- Report and review against critical performance targets including company KPIs
- Assist in the preparation of 3 year financial plans and ad hoc reports requested by the leadership team
- Work collaboratively with the Finance team to complete a range of varied and time sensitive activities

**About you**

We are looking for a service focused finance analyst with string commercial experience and understanding. You are a team player with an ability to drive and manage change.
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business administration or commerce
- In depth understanding of financial drivers in Profit and Loss.
- Proven experience in preparation of management information reports, high level of report writing and presentation skills
- High level of competency in Office 365 and relevant analytical software such as Power BI, Tableau
- Experience in the operating model of national network businesses across industries such as hire, logistics or retail
- Experience in identification of opportunities that add value to an organisation - process, operational, human, technology
- Demonstrated success in the identification, analysis and resolution of operational performance issues
