Davidson Technology are partnering with one of Melbourne's leading Higher Education Institute, in order to assist in the assignment of a ICT Service Design Lead.

As one of the state's largest providers of apprenticeship and traineeship training, they have strong relationships with many businesses and cater for students seeking industry-relevant training in a wide range of disciplines and on-site training options to suit the unique needs of the individual learner or organisation.

This is a 9-month initial contract opportunity opportunity for a ICT Service Design Lead. The institute Provider are very friendly, supportive, approachable and flexible. This position is based at their Box Hill campus but may be required to work in the City or Lilydale campuses as required

**About the Role**

As the Technology & ICT Service Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery and operationalization of projects within our institute's ICT Program. Working under the guidance of the ICT Program Director, you will provide specialist ICT solution architecture and service design services. The role will also be responsible for developing and supporting the implementation of an applicable ICT Service Design model to better enable each project to be successfully transitioned into IT operations and support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with senior members of the ICT Program to assess solution options, design solutions, and set standards that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop and support the implementation of an applicable ICT Service Design model to facilitate the smooth transition of projects into IT operations and support.
- Contribute expertise and knowledge across various ICT domains, including data center technologies, enterprise-wide network infrastructure, SaaS migrations, cyber security solutions, and end-user technologies.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of infrastructure services and technologies, including cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), on-premise data center technologies, network infrastructure, cyber security, data management, and end-user technologies.
- Foster collaboration and engagement with stakeholders to ensure effective system and data integration standards.
- Utilize your experience with multi-cloud, multi-service provider delivery models.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proficiency in infrastructure services and technologies, including cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), on-premise data center technologies, network infrastructure, cyber security, data management, and end-user technologies.
- Strong understanding of system and data integration standards.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud, multi-service provider delivery models.
- Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and testing acceptance criteria for non-functional requirements.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Certification or equivalent experience developing solutions within commonly used IT architectural frameworks (eg TOGAF, FEAF, Zachman).
- Service Management qualifications (with ITIL Version 3 or 4 Foundation at a minimum).
