As the largest flexographic printer in Australia -**Perfection Packaging** provides a vast range of flexible packaging products used for packing beverages, retail and wholesale foods, healthcare products, household products, pet food and personal care items.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the site QA Manager you will be a champion of all quality-related activities as required by our Dandenong South site. Becoming a valuable member of the site team you will assist in analysing operational processes to ensure compliance with implemented Management Systems: Food Safety/HACCP, Quality and OHS.

**Job Description**:

- Identify and record product, process and quality system problems and determine or recommend solutions
- Ensure that Food Safety and Quality requirements set for products and the process can achieve those requirements at the most economical level
- Advise on production trends
- Investigate and improve Quality Assurance and Food Safety methods
- Advise team on product quality to minimise customer issues
- Conduct Staff procedural training
- Implement sampling and test procedures
- Initiate improvement in production activities
- Monitor inspection and test records to ensure completeness and compliance
- Assist Quality Assurance Manager as required
- Authorise disposal, together with QA Manager, of product that does not meet specification
- Review product food safety/quality records or other production information and initiate effective action to correct/prevent defects

**Qualifications**:

- Strong experience working in a manufacturing environment with good working knowledge in food safety and/or quality
- Proficient in knowledge and interpretation of regulatory standards, including HACCP & Quality Management Systems
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Understanding of continuous improvement processes
