**The Business**
A rapidly growing ASX listed company, Genus Infrastructure (VIC) Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of GenusPlus Group (GNP). Genus Infrastructure VIC is an Electrical Contractor specialising in overhead powerlines and underground power distribution systems.

**The Role**

Whilst experience is preferred, consideration will be given to those that have completed the required training and are looking for an opportunity to start their career in SHEQ.

The SHEQ Officer role involves, but is not limited to:

- Conducting audits & inspections
- Responsible for maintaining the company registers to ensure compliance.
- Assisting in creating, implementing, and closing out of audit action plans
- Assisting in the development of risk assessments (JHAs, CRAWs etc.)
- Assisting in the delivery of SHEQ improvement programs & communications
- Leading high quality incident investigations
- Collecting, analysing, managing, and reporting on SHEQ data (MYOSH database)

**Essential Criteria**
- Cert IV WHS/OHS or higher
- 1+ years experience
- First Aid and CPR Training
- Initiate and organise OHS training, meetings and inductions of employees and subcontractors
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in safety and health, environmental and quality (SHEQ) roles.
- High level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
- Construction Safety Induction (‘White Card’)
- ICAM lead investigation training
- Current Driver’s License - "C" Class
- Strong knowledge of VIC WHS Legislation, Codes and Standards
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience in utilities, construction, and/or the resources industry.
- Qualifications in Work Health and Safety (OHS/WHS) and/or Internal Auditing.
- Experience in development, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated SHEQ.
- Management systems (Myosh, SharePoint and ChemAlert).
- Workplace First Aid Certificate and current CPR Certificate.
