Dandenong, Victoria, Australia Remedy Drinks Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Want to help us shake up fizzy drinks for good?

At Remedy, we're all about making drinks better—better tasting, better for you, and better for the planet. For over a decade, we've been shaking up the drinks game with our delicious, live-cultured bevvies, becoming the most loved kombucha brand in ANZ and expanding fast across the globe.

Now, we're looking for a Global Head of Quality & Compliance to safeguard the quality, safety, and integrity of our products worldwide - ensuring every Remedy sip is trusted, loved, and compliant in every market.

What's the gig?

This is a rare opportunity to join Remedy Drinks as our Global Head of Quality & Compliance on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Global Chief Operating Officer, you'll be the strategic force behind Remedy's quality, food safety, and compliance frameworks across global operations.

You'll lead a high-performing team and set the standard for excellence in product safety, regulatory readiness, and continuous improvement. From embedding robust QMS across our owned and co-manufacturing sites, to staying ahead of international regulatory changes, this role is about protecting consumer trust and unlocking global growth.

This role is primarily based at our Dandenong South Fermentary, the heart of Remedy's production and innovation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead Remedy's global quality, food safety, and compliance agenda across all markets
  • Build and coach a high-performing quality, food safety, and compliance team
  • Maintain world-class Quality Management Systems that meet or exceed global standards
  • Oversee global audit programs, ensuring sites are always audit-ready
  • Act as primary contact with regulatory authorities and external auditors worldwide
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Logistics, R&D, and Commercial teams to ensure new products are scalable, safe, and compliant
  • Drive proactive regulatory monitoring and ensure timely compliance across diverse jurisdictions (FSANZ, FDA, EFSA, Codex, etc.)
  • Own product quality incident management—including complaints, recalls, CAPAs, and regulatory communications
  • Embed a culture of accountability, risk awareness, and continuous improvement across Remedy Drinks

The Talent

We're after a trusted guardian of product quality and compliance - someone who protects consumer trust while enabling growth and innovation. You know how to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical actions, and you bring the leadership to unite teams around a common standard of excellence. At Remedy, you'll have the chance to shape the systems, culture, and capability that will fuel our global success.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • 10–15+ years' experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and food safety in FMCG/beverages
  • Deep knowledge of international regulatory frameworks (FSANZ, FDA, EFSA, Codex Alimentarius)
  • Proven track record leading global quality and regulatory teams
  • Strong experience working with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and 3PL partners
  • Success in implementing or upgrading QMS across multiple markets
  • Crisis management capability, with calm and clear leadership under pressure
  • Collaborative, commercial mindset—you get things done with and through others
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (essential)
  • Postgrad in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or similar (preferred)
  • HACCP, SQF, BRC, or other GFSI certifications (highly desirable)

Why Remedy?

At Remedy, we move fast, think big, and have fun along the way. You'll be joining a passionate, driven team on a mission to shake up the drinks industry for good. Expect a competitive reward package, all the tools of the trade, and—of course—a steady supply of free Remedy drinks
