About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to a team of service Coordinators and staff, to ensure the timely and accurate rostering of staff to deliver responsive services to the Autism Association’s clients. You will ensure individual client needs can be supported by making sure the right staff with the right skills and qualifications are recruited, trained and rostered to work with the individual.
Duties include:
- Managing Support Worker scheduling and rosters
- Creating start up rosters and assisting with the on-boarding of new staff
- Forward planning to provide a pool of back-up staff
- Processing leave requests, managing staff availability and training schedules
- Maintaining databases to ensure compliance
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Administrator to work 40 hours per week. You will have strong communication skills and be confident when speaking with individuals from all demographics and backgrounds. Your systematic approach, excellent attention to detail and confidence in working across multiple platforms will be complemented by a ‘can do’ attitude. To succeed in this role you will also have:
- Scheduling or rostering experience, preferably within the Disability or Aged Care sector, or similar
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management and rostering software
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong customer service focus with understanding of person-centred and inclusive support of people with Autism
- Proven ability to use initiative and work both independently and in a collaboratively
