**The Role**

This newly created role supports a busy P&C Manager as their 2IC. It is a generalist role in HR that will see you support across the full employee life cycle and get involved in key projects as well as gaining exposure to EBA negotiations. There will also be an initial emphasis on HR compliance and process review.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Review of legislation to ensure policies and business practice stay current at all times
- Review and implement organisational best practice for work instructions, systems and documentation
- Ensure all employees have the correct pay and benefits in line with applicable Awards and EBA. Undertake REM benchmarking and report back to management
- Provide support to the WHS function with process and compliance
- Assisting in all facets of the employee life cycle, employee engagement and L&D
- General advice and support to staff

**The Fit**

Fit to a small and collaborative team is essential therefore this role requires a high performing team minded individual who has a thirst for knowledge and continued development. You are HR qualified with approx. 4 to 5 years’ experience, ideally in a blue collar environment. You are a people person with the ability to adapt and flex to your audience and the business needs, you build credible relationships and can demonstrate business smarts and a capacity to work autonomously when required. High attention to detail, systems savvy, excellent communication both verbal and written and the ability to influence and negotiate will be highly regarded.

**What’s Next**
