Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and motivated HR Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment process, managing employment contracts, understanding and applying Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA), staff appraisals, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Job Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising job vacancies, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
2. Understanding EBA & Contracts: Ensure all employment contracts and conditions align with the EBA and other workplace regulations.
3. Understanding of industry Awards: Knowledge and understanding of relevant awards, such as the Nurses Award 2024 or SCHADS Awards 2024 will be an advantage.
4. Staff Appraisals & Performance Records: Conduct regular staff appraisals and maintain performance records to ensure high standards of care and staff development.
5. Onboarding & Compliance: Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are properly inducted and compliant with organizational policies.
6. Feedback & Compliance Register: Maintain the staff complaints and feedback register, addressing issues in a timely and effective manner.
7. HR Support: Provide ongoing support and advice to staff regarding HR-related matters, policies, and workplace conditions.
8. Ensuring Staffing Levels: Manage employee scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels.

Requirements:

1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant field
2. Demonstrated experience in recruitment, onboarding, and HR compliance
3. Knowledge of employment laws, EBAs, and contract management
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
6. Previous experience in the healthcare industry (desirable)
