The Streamlining Grants Branch supports the Department to effectively implement and manage grant arrangements in accordance with relevant legislation. The Branch provides coordination and support for grant management across the Department, ensuring consistency with whole of Government policies.

The Branch pursues continuous improvement and efficiencies in grant administration through collaboration with policy divisions. It manages the relationship and grants work program with the Community and Business Grants Hubs and the NHMRC.

The Branch is committed to improving the grant tools, processes, and systems to improve customer experience while also working to continuously enhance the level of executive confidence in grant program design and delivery.
