Strategy and Insights Lead

We are seeking a highly analytical Research Analyst to work directly with the Founder on strategic initiatives across market research, competitive analysis, industry trends and M&A scouting. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone with strong data and research skills who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You’ll play a critical role in helping identify market trends, evaluate strategic opportunities, and generate insights that shape the company’s direction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Own and drive the end-to-end research lifecycle across market, industry, and competitor analysis projects
- Provide actionable insights through financial analysis, market sizing, and trend forecasting
- Build and maintain robust research databases, dashboards, and intelligence tools for cross-functional use
- Manage and mentor junior analysts, ensuring output quality, analytical rigor, and alignment with strategic goals
- Collaborate across internal teams (product, trading, marketing, finance) to align research initiatives with business objectives
- Evaluate and introduce new research methodologies, tools, and data sources to enhance insights generation
- Act as a thought partner to the Founder and senior leadership, shaping high-level strategic planning
- Translate complex data into executive-ready reports and board-level presentations
- Guide M&A research efforts: identify and assess acquisition targets, conduct due diligence, and present strategic fit assessments
- Develop frameworks for identifying strategic opportunities, including market entry, acquisition targets, and partnerships

**Who are you?**
- 5+ years’ experience in market research, strategy, consulting, or investment research
- Deep analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to distill complex findings into actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead a small research team
- Knowledge of the financial services, trading, or fintech sectors preferred
- Expertise in Excel, data platforms, and statistical tools
- Proven track record in leading high-impact research projects in fast-paced environments
