**Your new team**
The Strategy, Reputation & Corporate affairs team act as the Fund’s internal strategic advisers. The team is expert, energetic and highly collaborative, working with colleagues across the Fund, shaping the Fund’s strategy, acting as custodians of the Fund’s reputation and supporting AustralianSuper to be Australia’s leading superannuation fund for members. You will work with inspiring and inclusive executives and peers who embody our values-based, members first philosophy, this shared purpose is singular and clear. **Your new role**
As a Strategy Lead, you will lead the development of business unit strategies and key strategic initiatives for Executive and Board audiences by working closely with the Senior Manager and business stakeholders. Key Accountabilities will include;
- Support the development, review and maintenance of the Fund’s long-term strategy
- Lead development and coordination of strategy at business unit and functional level
- Support the management of Fund-level and business unit level business planning processes
- Deliver key activities which support coordination and alignment of various strategies across the Fund
- Assist with preparation of Executive Committee and Board submissions
- Support development of quantitative and qualitative market intelligence, benchmarking and competitive landscape, modelling and scenario development
- Investigate major industry shifts and identify tactical and strategic implications
- Monitor and interpret Fund performance to identify Fund implications and generate insights which will influence management decision-making
- Conduct robust market scans to identify new opportunities for the Fund, staying on top of market trends and activities
- Be a trusted advisor to business units to deliver and align strategic initiatives and solutions
- Develop evaluation and execution frameworks and processes

**What you’ll need**
- Strong commercial experience in management consulting or related corporate strategy role
- Strategy development experience
- Superior analytical capability and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyse large datasets and deriving strategic and actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management and communications skills
- Strong engagement skills and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at different levels
- Ability to influence and lead working groups
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint skills
- Demonstrated capacity to work under pressure and ambiguity
