**The opportunity**

We’re all here to help deliver greater retirement outcomes for our members. As the Lead, Analytics, and Insights, you will play a critical role in leveraging existing data technology to support the analytics, insights, and data functions and planning for our future in the Modern Data Platform.

You will lead a team of data, analytics and business intelligence specialists assisting our stakeholders to meet their objectives by delivering trustworthy, valuable, and easily consumable data and insights. This role will have end-to-end responsibility for the execution of best practices in the development of reports, self-service data models, visualisations, and analytics models.
- Coach your team to effectively elicit and document detailed business requirements and user stories and translate them into technical solution designs, data requirements and estimate time to deliver
- Work with stakeholders and Product Owners to provide advice and recommendations on the suitability of insights to mitigate operational risk, meet regulatory compliance obligations, create operational efficiencies, and drive operational excellence and innovation
- Manage and triage how the work is executed within the team’s capabilities against an engagement and delivery model
- Contribute to the planning of and execution against the Data & Analytics Strategy
- Support the Iteration Manager and Manager, Insights in capacity and capability planning
- Collaborate with Data Office Leads and Delivery & Information Leads to estimate and deliver desired outcomes in the context of small improvements, lifecycle management and continuous improvement delivery

**About you**

We are looking for an individual who has worked in fast moving transformation environment and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.
- Advanced level in Understanding Needs & Insights - Translating and communicating data outcomes in an intuitive and insightful way to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions
- Advanced level in Stakeholder Engagement - Clear, concise, and considered communication
- Advanced level in Data Visualisation - Facilitating understanding of data by displaying concepts, ideas, and facts using graphical representations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced level in Data Modelling - Developing models to represent and communicate data requirements and data assets.
- Intermediate to Advanced experience in a variety of insights related tools and techniques including SQL Server / SSRS / SSIS / SSAS; Power BI; Python and Cognos. Experience contemporary analytics platforms in Azure will be well regarded
