**About the role**

With a large influx of calls from their valued domestic and commercial customers, you will be at the forefront of the company looking after the accounts component of energy customer within the Greater Western Sydney area. You will cover a maternity leave position for up to 12 months.

You will handle debtors, correspondence and enquiries, including account queries, escalations, the processing of orders, payments and new customer enquiries, with an aim to set up new accounts.

The overall purpose of the role is to ensure that the accounts are paid on-time and chase up any accounts that have not yet settled their invoice.

You will deal with multiple stakeholders and teams across the large organisation in order to ensure a smooth delivery of the product, in a timely manner.

**Who is the best person for the role and what experience would be ideal to be a success in this role**
- Recent experience working in a contact centre
- Superb written communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar
- Attention to detail is critical as you are dealing with dollars and delivery addresses
- High degree of empathy
- Strong ability to handle escalated calls with care, empathy and respect
- Someone who wants to work in an office 5 days per week - this is not a WFH role
- A team player - work closely with the immediate team but also gathering information from other business areas
- Reliable and punctual
- And a good sense of humour would be very welcomed
