- Central location in Parramatta CBD

**The Role**

The Building Manager is responsible for the exceptional facilities management of a single corporate site in the Parramatta CBD. The role also requires after hours calls for emergencies, or as required.

**This role is based in Parramatta, NSW.
- Manage preventative and reactive base building maintenance for commercial offices in the Parramatta CBD
- Manage all site plant and equipment including air conditioning, electrical, water and lifts
- Lead the process of contractor inductions, permits and management
- Source quotes for building works, write proposals for approval and project manage works
- Use multiple software platforms for records management, purchase/work orders and compliance.

**Skills and Experience
- Proven facilities management experience in a commercial/corporate environment, and in managing plant, equipment and large-scale maintenance activities
- Trade qualification desirable such as mechanical / electrical, and post trade e.g. Engineering Certificate or Associate Diploma
- Knowledge of building legislative and statutory requirements, environmental and sustainability factors and work health and safety elements
- Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
- Experience in an integrated services model delivering property, facilities, project and financial management services would be well regarded. _
