**Facilities Manager - Inner Sydney Corporate Entity**
**Full-Time, Salary: $75K - $85K**
Our client, a leading corporate entity located in inner Sydney, is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to manage and oversee the efficient operation of a corporate tower building. This role ensures that all aspects of the facilities run smoothly, while maintaining a safe, productive, and compliant environment for all occupants.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Building Operations**:Oversee the day-to-day functioning of all facility systems (HVAC, concierge desk, electrical, security) to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
**Maintenance Management**: Coordinate maintenance schedules and address any repair issues or hazards promptly.
**Health & Safety Compliance**: Implement health and safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections.
**Security Management**: Supervise security systems and maintain control over access points and key distribution.
**Vendor & Contractor Management**:Manage relationships with service providers and contractors, from obtaining quotes to overseeing project timelines and quality control.

**Energy Efficiency & Sustainability: L**ead efforts to reduce energy consumption and promote sustainability practices.
**Team Leadership**:Manage and lead a maintenance team, providing support, training, and development to ensure high standards of service.
**Emergency Response**: Act as the primary contact for facility-related emergencies, developing preparedness strategies for crisis situations.
**Record Keeping**:Maintain detailed records of all facility activities, including maintenance, incidents, and contractor work.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
Proven experience managing large facilities, with expertise in building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Strong vendor and contractor management skills, including budgeting and negotiations.
Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proactive problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
