Canva's Marketing team has a big mission to build the most loved brand in the world through world-class marketing programs that showcase the values and products of Canva through the lens of our community. Our team's success is based on leveraging research and insights that allow us to design groundbreaking creative that connects with the audience in the right place at the right time and creates a lasting impression.
We also have an ambition to grow, engage and retain Canva users across the funnel and stages of their lifecycle. Our success is in scaling our marketing efforts globally to drive sustainable revenue and user growth by moving users down the funnel.
We looking for talented Individuals with skills across the below Marketing specialities:
Brand Marketing
- Driving brand awareness, love, consideration and loyalty through brand campaigns, strategy, product launches, partnerships, social media and events.
- Brand Strategy: strategic brand narrative and positioning for company, regions and products.cover brand positioning, value propositions, naming, brand architecture, key messaging, quant & qual research analysis, communication strategies, and crafting inspirational creative briefs.
- Brand Campaigns: Advertising and social expertise. Running Canva’s global brand campaigns and platform annually through the implementation of global brand campaign. Formulate and champion the strategy and plans to achieve Canva’s business targets and brand goals through customer-focused and data-driven marketing campaigns across owned and earned media channels (TV, Radio, OOH, display, social, video, mobile, content, affiliates, etc.) and build campaign strategies around key audiences and markets.
- Brand partnerships & experiential: owns strategy and implementation of brand partnerships and events that promote awareness and love. Responsible for the prioritization, strategy, scoping, and execution of experiential activations across all of our audiences
Communications
- Work on a variety of internal and external communications for Canva, ensuring its message is consistent and engaging
- Work collaboratively with a variety of cross functional teams across Canva’s Marketing team.
- Marketing budget development and cost tracking.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction
- Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials
Events & Partnerships Marketing
- End-to-end partnership management, and continuation of relationship building with Marketing vendors or partners
- Work in collaboration with partners to implement new campaigns and initiatives, always keeping Canva brand at the forefront
- Manage multiple projects at one point, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects or events are delivered on time and to brand
- Identify new partner opportunities through continuous improvement
- Work with marketing, community, social, and product leads to present new event or partnership ideas to build cross functional campaigns that delight customers as well as grow brand awareness and love.
Localisation
- Liaise with language service providers to establish localization project milestones to successfully deliver complex, global projects
- Prioritize competing projects across multiple highly-dynamic product lines
- Partake in the Product Localization team strategy, setting localization optimization goals aimed at achieving greater efficiency in the localization process
- Effectively communicate project status and localization data to internal and external stakeholders
- Represent global localization and internationalization perspective during project planning and decision-making
- Identify and implement strategies to improve processes or efficiency where needed
- Design workflows directly in our cloud-based translation management system
- Utilize a metrics-driven approach to develop localization health scores, benchmarks, and KPIs
- Collaborate closely with vendors to ensure alignment and compliance with all quality-related protocols
- Triage functional bugs in Canva’s international produc
