Customer Service Officer

Due to business demand and growth, we have created the opportunity to add more **Customer Service Officers** to our Packaged Products team based in Pinkenba. This is a permanent, full-time role within what is called our "Customer Interface Team". In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will be the bones to operations in ensuring our customers make and receive their orders. Your days will be busy as you help customers to place orders, raise queries and look for information on their account activity. Some detective work will come into play for more challenging issues, and you will have to utilise your knowledge and relationships with key stakeholders to get the best result. **About the role**: In this role you will: - Investigate, resolve and respond to customer queries in a timely manner - Provide proactive communication regarding deliveries and transportation issues - Support other business areas with queries regarding product availability and invoicing This role has a roster of Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm and is based in our site in Pinkenba. **About you**: To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: - Previous experience within the transport, logistics and supply chain industry - Experience in managing and processing a high level of orders - Excellent communication skills and an ability to build rapport quickly with customers and stakeholders - An appetite to learn new processes and upskill as you progress in your role - A strong eye for detail and able to work through high amounts of data/information - Excellent time management skills - Good level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel - A can-do attitude and team player mindset **Why work for Cement Australia?** - Join Australia’s largest and most respected cement manufacturer - Engaged, collaborative and diverse team - Free onsite parking - Fulltime, permanent position - grow your career with us **About us**: An icon of the Australian cement industry, Cement Australia is the nation’s leading supplier of cementitious products and services.
