A fantastic opportunity is available for a talented and versatile Senior HR professional to lead the People & Culture function as the Group Director of People & Culture with a strong operational and strategic focus. This hands-on role involves designing and implementing strategies that align with the overall goals and objectives of the Lancemore Hotel Group's vision and values. Supported by a direct report, you will oversee all aspects of the people function and be a part of the Executive team, based at the company’s head office in the heart of the CBD.

**About the role**:

- Strategically important role reporting into the CEO, a member of the Executive team and an important player in enabling the growth of the organisation through the people strategy;
- Responsible for guiding the development and execution of HR initiatives that will attract, develop and retain the breadth of talent required to drive excellence and business performance;
- Reinforce the employer brand and design the internal and external communications strategies and tactics through all phases of the employment lifecycle to deliver on it;
- Responsible for guiding the organisation’s culture with the company’s senior leaders with the aim of ensuring our ongoing success and a company everyone working within it can be proud of;
- Dealing with the day to day and resolving employee relations matters swiftly and effectively
- Lead the training and development program from end-to-end with an aim of being concurrently highly innovative and highly effective and take responsibility for the e-learning platform)
- A hands-on role that involves both strategic and execution skills.
- Ensuring the P&C platforms, tools, processes are effectively managed and utilised to continue to engage and optimise the employee experience with effective reporting.

**About you**:

- Experienced senior Human Resources practitioner, preferably from a highly customer focused, multi property environment
- Be a genuine business partner - with a history of helping achieve the organisation’s vision, mission, KPIs and desired culture
- Have the ability to build on our strong foundation and take it to the next level through the execution of innovative ideas - especially in talent management, L&D and culture
- Naturally outgoing and friendly demeanour with personal commitment and passion for providing employee care, growth and performance
- Have a relentless passion to nurture and cultivate a best place to work at all times
- Have strong organsational, task-management, employee relations, leadership, problem resolution, creativity, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Have a desire to constantly learn, develop yourself and others to help lead the organisation to excellence
- Possess strong software and computer skills to include e-recruitment, e-learning platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
