**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an experienced Training Specialist for support for our customer training programs.

As a Training Specialist, you will provide the full spectrum of training support for our current and emerging customer training programs.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyse customer training requirements and develop innovative, relevant and engaging technical training support solutions to meet their needs
- Design, develop and implement tailored training programs, materials and assessments using contemporary and emerging methodologies
- Assist in the evaluation of new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development and delivery for internal and external customers
- Review training products to ensure that they comply with commercial, government, regulatory and organisational standards, specifications, processes and procedures as applicable

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience in the analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation of complex technical training programs
- Experience with multimedia development, editing and production
- 8+ years' experience in training design and development
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to produce high quality work within tight timeframes
- Highly developed written and oral communication/ interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance
- Experience with the **Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL)** or a Defence Training background (desirable)
- Experience developing innovative, relevant and engaging training solutions (desirable)
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills (desirable)
