Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Training Specialist to design, deliver, and assess vocational automotive programs. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on automotive expertise with the ability to mentor and guide learners to achieve industry-recognised competencies.

Candidates must have a minimum of 9+ years of automotive industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical and theory-based automotive training sessions.
  • Assess learners against accredited units of competency.
  • Develop and adapt training materials to suit learner needs and industry standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to ensure skill mastery.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to ensure training is aligned with workforce needs.
  • Strong knowledge of modern automotive technologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current driver's license. Additional trade licenses preferred, e.g., air conditioning
  • Previous training or teaching experience in any capacity is required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Possess one or more of the following Trade qualifications:

  • AUR30320 (Automotive Electrical Technology)
  • AUR30620 (Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
  • AUR31120 (Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
  • AUR20220 (Automotive Vocational Preparation Certificate)
  • AUR31020 Certificate III in Automotive Sales

Possess the following vocational qualification:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
