**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Manager, Brand and Creative Studio to join Marketing and Communication, Chancellery Division.

The Manager, Brand and Creative Studio is responsible for maintaining oversight of QUT’s brand, balancing creative design with strategic supervision and project planning. The position oversees a creative team of graphic designers, photographer-videographer and creative partners who translate client creative requests and ideas into project plans and deliverables for print, digital, video and presentation.

The Marketing and Communication Department is responsible for:

- Building and protecting QUT’s brand and reputation
- Engaging and recruiting future students
- Ensuring communications from QUT are effective and of high professional standard.

As well as professional services provided to the university community, the Department is responsible for a variety of corporate communication functions and oversees relevant policies, protocols and governance arrangements.

**What you need to succeed**

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring and upskilling colleagues, while demonstrating best practice to ensure a high level of service.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training and experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in marketing and visual communication with demonstrated relevant experience in brand management, creative, publishing, and advertising projects.
- Demonstrated professional experience (equivalent to 7-10 years) in a fast-paced environment managing multiple creative projects simultaneously, including the delivery of key projects within high quality standards, assignments and schedules for team members.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in print/digital production management including expertise in working closely with design/creative teams, and an understanding of the different specifications and processes for print and digital design production.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in leadership and team management and successful proven experience in the day-to-day management of a medium-size team.
- Highly developed collaboration skills in working with multiple teams on projects, including facilitating relationships between teams, planning and assigning resources, developing schedules and resolving open issues that prevent progress.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in negotiation, presentation and liaising with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level, including a proven ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in management of budgets and delivery of projects within financial parameters.
