Hello Creative Agency (HCA) is a design-led, full-service creative studio based in Brisbane. We bring brands to life through strategy-driven design, content creation, marketing, and website development. We are small by design but highly agile, delivering high-quality creative with purpose and personality. We're currently looking for a Senior Graphic Designer & Account Lead to join us on a contract basis, with permanent hours, paid super, and a bonus structure in place for new business acquisition. You'll work closely with our Founder and Creative Director, Carlie Clark, to lead creative direction, manage key accounts, and help shape the future of our studio.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that blends hands-on design with client management and business development. It's ideal for a designer who enjoys end-to-end ownership—from concept to delivery—and who feels confident working directly with clients to create both visual impact and commercial results.

You'll work from our Nudgee studio with the flexibility to balance in-person and remote collaboration. Your input will directly influence our projects, processes, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership

  • Lead concept development and execution across branding, digital, and print.
  • Deliver high-quality, strategically aligned design outcomes.
  • Mentor and support junior designers and freelancers.

Studio & Account Management

  • Manage project timelines, team resourcing, and client communication using ClickUp.
  • Liaise directly with clients for feedback, approvals, and updates.
  • Ensure stakeholders are looped in across client accounts and project decisions.

Business Development

  • Identify new client opportunities and help shape proposals and pitches.
  • Assist with quoting and creative presentations.
  • Represent HCA professionally in client and industry interactions.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years' experience in a creative agency or similar studio environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual and executional design skills.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite + Squarespace, WordPress, Email Marketing Platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp etc), Animation Skills are advantageous.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and confident managing multiple projects independently.
