We have a need for a passionate and creative marketing communication specialist who thrives on building brands and maintaining positive company image. A connected media relations guru, expressive copy writer and passionate event executor, you are experienced in establishing and maintaining relationships with the consumer, community, and public interest groups by engaging the media on behalf of the brand and founders. Your hands on stakeholder management experience sees you seamlessly pivot between media representatives, talent management and the public.

This role is multi-faceted, with responsibilities across running a ‘dual brand’ communication strategy across the brand portfolio, including a founder media profile strategy, event management, and third party partnership facilitation and coordination.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Responding to requests for information release from the media
- Writing press releases, content blogs and other media communications
- Building a strategic communication plan to support the organization's objectives and public relations needs to influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services.
- Preparing and editing organizational publications, for internal and external audiences.
- Media monitoring to deliver against ROI and media value KPIs
- Ideate and direct end-to-end event needs for the company, including media and influencer events and digital and physical community events.
- Source, book and liaise with third party partners to deliver events including venue, catering, and styling needs.
- Deliver reach, engagement, ROI, and communication KPIs
- Identify, and outreach to third party partners for collaboration, and brand exposure.
- Negotiate placement and product exposure to deliver earned media KPIs.

**Profile**:
You have a tertiary qualification in PR, journalism, marketing or a related field. You will have 5+ years’ experience working within Communication, with exposure o fashion/pop culture highly desirable. You have excellent copy writing skills, and demonstrated experience pitching to media, promotional partners and KOL agencies. You have understanding of social media and working with influencers and a passion for working on big strategy plans as well as day—to-day tasks.
You have a deep understanding of consumer marketing and talent management. Your written and verbal communication skills set you apart from your peers, and you find energy from the fast-paced fashion, wellness, and pop culture industries.
