Lumen8 is a well-established lighting company with a busy warehouse supporting projects across Australia. We're seeking a hands-on, reliable, and detail-focused warehouse assistant to join our small, hardworking team.

This is a practical, active role supporting the warehouse's day-to-day operations, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a small, efficient team where everyone's contribution is noticed.

We operate with a small, dedicated warehouse team, so we're looking for someone who will take ownership, communicate well, and contribute positively to the team.

Your day will include:

  • Picking and packing orders, receiving and unpacking stock, and inventory management tasks
  • Using computer systems to manage orders and performing manual handling tasks as required
  • Light product assembly (e.g. using basic hand tools, soldering with guidance)
  • Communicating clearly with the team to flag issues or delays early
  • Taking ownership of your work area and supporting smooth daily operations
  • Occasionally assisting with local deliveries.

Driver's license required.

About You

  • Full working rights in Australia (citizen, PR, or equivalent)
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Able to follow instructions accurately and take pride in doing things properly
  • Reliable and punctual, shows up and gets the job done
  • Comfortable taking initiative and spotting what needs to be done without waiting to be told
  • Detail-oriented and understands the importance of accuracy
  • Communicates clearly and works well in a small, close-knit team
  • Physically capable of being on your feet and lifting boxes (within safe limits)

Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, but the right attitude, common sense, and a strong work ethic are more important. Training will be provided for the right person.
