**Your new company**
Our client is the world's leading company in the field of adhesives, sealants & chemical products for the building industry. Their products have been used in thousands of projects all around the world, from large-scale projects to commercial spaces, from residential projects to works of public interest. Enjoying a majority market share, they are a prominent name in the industry with a rich heritage. Their brand portfolio contains some of the best-selling levellers, engineered screeds and timber adhesives in the building industry. An opportunity has arisen as a Technical Sales Representative in their Victorian Sales team to sell and promote these products to the building industry.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, the purpose of the Technical Sales Representative is to promote the company products in line with their sales & marketing strategy, with the objective of increasing market share and customer penetration.

Key duties you will be required to perform:

- To service and support existing customer base and develop new accounts
- To perform duties within the framework of company policies (e.g. Sales, Pricing, Expenses etc)
- Provide market information to the State Sales Manager as input for planning
- Prepare project proposals / requirements for customers together with the State Sales Manager, Product Manager and relevant departments
- Report / document verbal agreements with customers
- Maintain communication to relevant departments in relation to customer activity

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous sales experience in the building materials industry, working with an similar product category and customer base is also of interest. Preferably you've worked with ceramics, adhesives, sealants and chemicals, and sold into flooring companies.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must possess basic organisational and time management skills
- Valid and current motor vehicle driver licence
- COVID vaccination required

**What you'll get in return**
