Are you an experienced Records Officer seeking a step-up into leading a small team? This ‘Coordinator Business Information’ role at Burwood Council, located in the Inner-West of Sydney may be perfect

**Key Priorities**
As the Coordinator Business Information your key priorities over the next 6-12 months include:

- Lead a small Business Information Services team (1 full-time & 2 part-time Records Officers), this includes team building (hiring when needed), staff management, performance management, capability analysis and development which may include a service review.
- Integrate Content Manager (CM10) with the single ERP solution. Next month Council will commence preparation to move away from Civica/Authority and TechnologyOne to the preferred solution.
- Develop a Records Management Strategy, based on Records Management Assessment Tool (RMAT) insights.
- Refresh the Records Digitisation Program and continuously improve it in conjunction with management of commercial off-site storage arrangements.
- Business process mapping using Nintex Process Manager software to support the above priorities and more, as emphasis on improved management control and learning increases.

**Primary Purpose**
- To develop, promote and support a sound document and record keeping framework which is well integrated with business processes throughout the organisation.
- To implement and enforce Council wide information management programs and practices in line with statutory and organisational mandates.
- Provide practical support to all information dependent business units to ensure that good information management practices are incorporated in the design of business processes
- Provide document registration and workflow support (workflow design and tracking intelligence) for incoming correspondence and other work-flowed records.

**Criteria**
To be considered you will:

- Have exposure working with Records Management/Content Management/Information Management systems (e.g. CM9, CM10, TRIM, Dataworks and/or Objective)
- Have demonstrated leadership skills - mentoring, supervising or managing staff
- Understand the public recordkeeping framework set by State Records NSW, and be familiar with the Records Management Assessment Tool
- Have contributed to the implementation of a new software in a previous workplace
- Local state or federal government experience is preferred, but not mandatory
- Hold a valid Covid Vaccination Certificate (2 doses)
