Annually Business Sydney host between 65 and 80 events ranging from 25pax to 400pax.
Formats for events include breakfasts, lunches, evening cocktail receptions and other corporate events.
Main responsibilities include, but not limited to: Administration in relation to business award programs including utilisation of Awards Force for reporting , entry management and communications.
Assist with support for Awards Force troubleshooting, and support to entrants and stakeholders.
Admin support to Business Sydney's Events team for member and non-member events.
Tasks such as uploading documents, following up on quotes, coordinating suppliers, and placing orders in a timely fashion.
Requirements The main requirement for this role is a proven track record in Events Management and/or Administration.
Other requirements for the role include: Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to consistently deliver high-quality work.
Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to see tasks through to conclusion Demonstrated ability to undertake, prioritise and organise multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a small team environment and be able to develop effective relationships internally and externally.
