We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to support our hotel’s daily finance operations, with a core focus on Accounts Receivable, credit control, billing, and reconciliations. This role works closely with our Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams (including Front Office and Events) to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial processing that supports exceptional guest service and operational integrity.
Key responsibilities
Managing guest and client billing, including raising invoices and following up on overdue accounts
Ensuring all payments are accurately applied to the correct accounts
Coordinating with departments like Front Office and Events to ensure billing and documentation is correct
Performing credit checks and maintaining debtor records in line with policy
Ensuring pseudo accounts and ledger reconciliations are actioned in a timely manner
Supporting internal compliance, audit requirements, and monthly financial close
Maintaining accurate schedules for contracts and contra agreements
What You’ll Bring
A Diploma in Accounting or similar qualification
3-5 years’ experience in accounts receivable or finance admin roles (hotel/hospitality exposure is a bonus)
Accuracy, accountability, and a strong grasp of numbers
Excellent time management and communication skills
The confidence to work independently but collaborate when needed
Familiarity with Excel, finance systems and platforms is highly regarded
