The role provides first response services to traffic incidents on various motorways and tunnels in Brisbane.**What’s on Offer**

**About the Role**
You will be required to work a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts which are part of a rotating roster with both day and night work required (similar to emergency services rosters). Your shifts commence at Stretton, Murarrie and Bowen Hills. Duties include
- Work towards the safety of your team, commuters and other related parties whilst engaging in conflict resolution and managing critical incidents
- Ensure optimum safe lane availability and relay up-to-date information to the public, supervisors, and the wider response team
- Operate and range of vehicles to assist with all aspects of civil maintenance (including rubbish removal, attenuator truck and tow trucks)
- Work closely with emergency services and as well as provide basic first aid and firefighting when required and safe to do so
- Emergency repair work for road network restoration and to return the roads to normal operational condition
**Mandatory requirements for this role**
- MR drivers’ licence
- Construction white card
- Must be able to work both day and night shift
