About Our Team Lead Role:
As a key leader in our Group Risk team, you will drive strong outcomes for customers and the business by overseeing incident management and breach reporting framework.
You will take ownership of the company's governance and compliance with regulatory requirements, including ASIC, APRA, and OAIC. Your expertise in risk management systems will ensure robust incident response planning and execution.
This pivotal role requires not just technical capability but also the ability to inspire a team and influence at the highest levels of the business.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-performing teams of incident and compliance specialists
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement risk management systems
- Provide insightful reporting to Executive and Board Committees
- Foster a culture of compliance awareness across the organisation
What Experience We're Looking For:
We seek experienced professionals with a strategic mindset and leadership skills. Essential qualifications include:
- At least 8 years' experience in insurance operations, preferably in compliance, legal, or risk functions
- Strong knowledge of incident and breach reporting frameworks within the financial services or insurance industry
- Demonstrated experience with risk management systems
- Tertiary qualifications in law, compliance, risk, or a related field (preferred)
