**Linum Consult’s client is a major international company that works within the energy sector. They are currently seeking a Business Support Specialist with local Australian HR experience. This is a hybrid role: working from home and out of their Melbourne office.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Being the first point of contact for HR, IT, and procurement matters
- Overseeing and executing all office management related activities, including office operations, facilities, filing, and data management
- Designing, implementing, improving, and overseeing the adherence to general office policies and procedures in line with other business processes
- Providing internal business support in line with organisational policies and procedures to facilitate business processes, activities, and colleagues in the execution of their work
- Monitoring and reporting staff adherence to key HR policies and procedures
- Running the day-to-day office operations
- Welcoming visitors, arranging meeting venues, and facilitates catering and other provisions as required
- Ordering office supplies
- Executing a variety of administrative tasks, mainly within business support processes such as HR, Finance, Procurement, Public Relations, and IT
- Establishing and monitoring procedures for record keeping, ensuring security, integrity, and confidentiality of data

**PROFILE**
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar general office management role
- Sound knowledge of local HR practices: time attendance, recording absences, vacation planning, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficient in MS Office software
- Detail orientated and organised, with the ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
- The right to live and work in Australia
