TCorp’s Local Government Services (LGS) team provides lending to the local government sector within the parameters approved by the State of NSW and TCorp. LGS is a team within TCorp’s Financial Markets division - the centre of Financial Markets expertise for NSW, acting as the State’s Central Financing Authority, funding and managing the NSW debt portfolio, providing financial solutions and enabling local governments to access appropriate debt and investment products.

The Analyst will provide high level support to the LGS team across all aspects of the LGS business, including credit analysis, client relationship management and business development. With instruction, the Analyst will also operate independently to drive successful outcomes for the LGS business and assist with the seamless operation of the LGS business by ensuring all relevant TCorp policies, procedures and processes are applied diligently and to a high standard.

This position involves regular interaction with TCorp’s Credit Risk, Legal and FM Operations teams, local council clients and key external stakeholders including the Office of Local Government and NSW Treasury. It also requires an understanding of (not providing investment advice) TCorp Investments. Regular intra-state travel is required to meet the primary purposes set out above, and a current driver licence is highly regarded.
