Melbourne, Australia Gallagher Group Full time

**About Gallagher**

Our purpose at Gallagher is ‘Protect what matters most’ and we live it every day. Not only does our technology protect some of the world’s highest security environments and agriculture businesses in over 160 countries, but our purpose also means we care deeply about our people and their families.

We’ve been in business since 1938, and our high-tech animal management solutions are now sought after around the world. Within our Animal Management business, we’re passionate about putting our technology to work to make farm life easier and more profitable for our customers, ensuring a positive impact on environmental and animal welfare issues.

**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for an **Inventory Coordinator** to manage procurement, inventory, and stock control processes for our Norton Livestock Handling Solutions (LHS) product range. This is a hands-on and highly collaborative role, where you’ll work closely with internal teams (production, sales, design, customer service) and external suppliers to ensure the right products are available at the right time.

You’ll also be a champion for continuous improvement, driving smarter inventory processes, improving system accuracy, and helping to future-proof our supply chain as the business grows.

This role reports directly to the Norton LHS Business Unit Manager and offers plenty of exposure across the wider Gallagher Australia team, along with opportunities for growth within a global organisation.

**The Fit**

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re highly organised, detail-focused, and enjoy working cross-functionally to solve problems and drive improvements. Ideally, you’ll bring:

- A relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (Diploma or Degree level preferred).
- 3+ years’ experience in inventory management and procurement, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills - comfortable using data to forecast, plan and troubleshoot.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - able to work collaboratively across teams and with suppliers.
- High level of proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- A passion for continuous improvement and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

**Why Gallagher?**

At Gallagher, we foster a supportive and family-friendly work environment, where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are at the forefront of everything we do. We value work-life balance and prioritise the well-being of our employees. We also offer:

- A chance to be part of a fun and supportive team.
- Based locally at our Hastings site
- Competitive salary and bonus opportunities.
- An opportunity to be part of a global company with extensive careers options across multiple industries and professions.

Make your mark in Gallagher’s **Animal Management** team and help shape the future of our Norton LHS business.
