**About the role**
An opportunity has arisen for an Inventory Coordinator to join the team
In this key role, you will support our Retail Sales team by managing the inventory of marketable used vehicles within Inchcape's financial guidelines and purchasing policies. Additionally, you will oversee the wholesale process of used vehicles, ensuring compliance with our defined procedures. This role will also manage pricing for both new and used vehicles to reflect market conditions. Working closely with a range of internal stakeholders, including the Retail Sales team, Head of Sales, Customer Experience teams, and more, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and financial performance.
Further to the above and reporting into the Stock Control Team Leader, your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Analyse sales trends and market data to optimize vehicle purchasing mix
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for inventory management
- Manage wholesale of aged and unsuitable inventory based on reconditioning policy
- Track and report vehicle inventory across multiple locations and sales platforms
- Collaborate with Commercial Analyst to ensure competitive pricing for new and used vehicles
- Manage vehicle listings on Autogate, ensuring accuracy of details, imagery, and pricing
- Support in-store and online teams to enhance customer experience and repeat business
- Produce weekly/monthly reports on stock availability, aging inventory, and wholesale performance Coordinate vehicle movements between sites and dealerships, ensuring timely deliveries and quality adherence

**About you**
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in stock control within the automotive industry or in an inventory-focused role.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with digital platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation abilities.
- Ability to set and achieve personal goals.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Passion for delivering high-quality customer service.
