About The Role

The Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor will work within the People and Culture Division in partnership with Baptcare management and staff to contribute to organisational performance and employee engagement through assisting management and staff to become superior performers; and, when significant change is required, transforming the organisation in the achievement of new directions and goals.

Key Duties

Coach Operational Leaders in the effective implementation of the WHS Management System

Analyse and report safety data to key stakeholders to develop into key learnings and incident prevention strategies

Assist in the development of safety policies, procedures, safety management systems and compliance strategies to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.

Contribute to the planning, implementation, promotion and evaluation of cost effective and timely work practices, health promotion activities and group programs.

Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, guidelines and Acts relating to safety, workers compensation and injury management

Any other responsibilities, consistent with this position, as directed by the Manager Safety and Wellness
