**The Company**
We are currently recruiting for an Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor for a market leader with a diverse range of household brands.

This (ASX) listed company operates in a competitive environment succeeding on the basis of superior customer service, innovation and extensive product range.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Group Health Safety and Wellbeing Manager, the Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor provides advice and support to business and people leaders, ensuring alignment with the group approach to meeting obligations and maturing the company culture of keeping each other safe and well. Responsibilities include:

- Role model a culture of safety maturity through effective risk management and consultation regarding all health and safety matters.
- Undertake site visits to coach, consult and conduct risk assessments, hazard inspections, reporting back to the business on specific outcomes, common findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Provide advice and coaching to people leaders on matters relating to safe work practices, legislative compliance and activities to mature safety culture.

**Skills & Experience**
This business is highly commercial yet customer centric as it core. To be successful in being considered for this role, you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or related field, ICAM accredited (Desired)
- 3+ years’ experience in Health and Safety with knowledge of relevant legislation, return to work programmes and best practice.
- Excellent and effective communication skills and able to build strong working relationships and support change within the organisation.
