**About the Role**
Swinburne University is seeking a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Advisor to lead the development and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives across the university. This role plays a crucial part in promoting psychological safety and fostering a positive workplace culture, with a strong focus on managing psychosocial risks.
In this position, you will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to design and implement systems, programs, and training that identify and mitigate psychosocial hazards. You will also contribute to the development of policies and initiatives that support a mentally healthy workplace.
As a Health and Wellbeing Advisor, you will provide expert guidance on assessing and managing psychosocial risks. Your responsibilities will include developing proactive risk management strategies, supporting key stakeholders in creating psychologically safe work environments, and ensuring compliance with relevant workplace health and safety legislation.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience in psychosocial risk management, including monitoring and evaluating psychosocial risk controls
- In-depth knowledge and occupational health and safety legislation, particularly related to psychological health
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organisation
